The final exam is comprised of 2 parts; your Final Project and your finished Google Portfolio. Your Final Project will count for 80% of your final exam grade, and the portfolio will count as 20%.
For the Final Project you are to create 2 fashion designs that are inspired from a mood board you are to create. The final fashion figures will be colored with marker or colored pencil to show the form of the fabric as well as any patterns or textures. The designs can be inspired from any theme, topic or fashion era you like provided the designs match the theme of the mood board.
Procedure:
1. Sketch several designs in your sketchbook and use you favorite 2 designs, do not outline the sketches in black.
2. Scan the two designs, open the jpg in Photoshop and print it out.
3. Using the techniques developed throughout the year, use colored marker demonstrating your ability to show form by applying shadows and mid-tones to the figure and the garments.
4. Using the techniques developed throughout the year, use colored pencil or marker demonstrating your ability to show form by by applying shadows and mid-tones to the figure and the garments
